About Johnny
Johnny Ironsights® is an Americana-Folk artist from Arizona whose music channels the hard-living spirit and dark strangeness of the American underbelly.
Johnny's diverse family background is present throughout his songwriting. His mother was born in Hawaii and is of indigenous Filipino descent and his late father was a French-Canadian immigrant. Johnny's storytelling is honest and gritty, dealing with themes of drug and gambling addictions and grief, as well as the struggles of the American working class.
Johnny recorded his upcoming album "Sandbox of Sin" in West Virginia with Grammy winning producer, composer and singer-songwriter, Chance McCoy (Old Crow Medicine Show). Chance produced, recorded and performed on Johnny's new album. Chance has worked with such artists as Willie Nelson, Sturgill Simpson, Mumford & Sons and Margo Price.
